Nice work! I’m looking forward to the next episode. It’s got that Clerks vibe before it went all weird.
This is great! Congrats!
…Is it weird that I would probably do that for a Batman comic? ;)
Fun episode! Can’t wait for more!
PS: Love the Skull plushy strategically placed in the bedroom. XD
i think this is what Clerks should’ve been like if back then comic books where not shunned upon, great work guys, Hope it starts getting weirder each episode though sort of like the clerks cartoon, and now i’ll stop using clerks references, keep them coming i’ll keep watching them
Awesome job, guys! Barry’s best line: “effin’ A, Arturo. Effin’ A.”
“Effin’ A”. Great job Tim and Eric!
Nice work! Looking forward to the next episode.
Awesome !!..but I do NOT like my Barry nice..the writers are so doing a Black Canary on Barry..they obviously did not do their research on Barry and do not know the history of Barry !! Im so taking this up with them when I see them at the comic con !
favorite quote: “footless legs!”
Effin’ A indeed! Looking forward to future episodes. Congratulations on the premiere. I even see hints of ‘Empire Records’ and ‘High Fidelity’ in this.
Forrest: I thought Barry was doing okay, but if you say he can get worse, then let the games begin. I would enjoy seeing that!
Again, great start gang and I’m spreadin’ the word!
I won’t mention that movie; too many people already have. It’s become natural for it to be the reference point on anything involving retail in a small business. That whole “gotta have a label on it” thing…
I thought it was a pretty good start, and Barry’s rant on speculator comics and certain artists/writers who have cults of fanboy personality made me go “woo.” I like going “woo.”
Woo.
Great job! I can’t wait for the next installment!
So awesome! Need more episodes!
Oh! And OUTTAKES!
Snootchie Boochies!
Nothing beats a Wolverine face on a Girls poster while Joe dances and sings. Llllllllovin’ it.
Great first episode, I look forward to more.
Nice job, guys. I look forward to the next episode.
cool episode can not wait for more. love how even though Barry is suppose to be mister cold he was nice enough to get Joe a copy of the book in the end proves barry in his own way cares and can not wait to see vlad make an appearance
Wow! That’s great! I know that’s the first episode and all, but I’m ready for a complete first season DVD set with outtakes, b-reel footage, limited edition comic, and little collectible Kubricks of you. I can see it now. You’re going to get picked up by Adult Swim or HBO then before you know it there will be “The Variants” lunch boxes, energy drinks, and McFarlane action figures. Little kids are going to be dressing up like you guys for Halloween. Crazy, man…crazy.
Great episode…. well, a lot better than the last “Episode 1″ I saw anyway!
I’m looking forward to the next one… “Surly Barry” was awsome.
Ehh… the humor isn’t working for me.
HYSTERICAL! Great job guys! Can’t wait for the second ep! =D
How long will the next episode take to complete??
Firstly, I enjoyed this. And that there is a pretty store.
Second though, I have those same neons up in the window at my store, and every time they were off in a shot it made me want to go turn them on. It’s like a pavlovian retail response.
Maybe it’s just me, but Barry reminds me of Indy Pete from Diesel Sweeties. I know people who act like this in real life and want to kick them all in the nads.
Funny stuff. Keep up the good work.
